Chapter 4

My Projects

Welcome to the "My Project" section, where I share my entrepreneurial ventures, creative business activities, and community efforts I have participated in. Throughout this journey, I have explored how to combine passion with social responsibility, from developing sustainable products to organizing charitable programs aimed at supporting those in need. Each project not only provides opportunities for learning and personal growth but also creates positive impacts on the surrounding community. I hope that these stories and experiences will inspire you to engage in community-oriented activities and sustainable development.
I am a Co-founder of Resho:es, a sports shoe startup that utilizes leftover materials from factory inventories. I manage a 15-member core team that oversees the day-to-day operations of the startup. My role involves collaborating with the production unit to select shoe models, design the products, and ensure quality control to meet customer needs.

To evaluate business performance and better understand consumer behavior, I leveraged Python programming, utilizing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and processing. I also used Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly to create reports, charts, and visualizations to assess market trends and overall project performance.

I was organizing a product launch event at the 2024 Tet Fair, Touching the Flavors of Tet, held at Dewey School. The event attracted more than 300 participants and raised 3,000,000 VND in sales. Following the launch, we opened for sales on the Shopee e-commerce platform, securing 37 orders in the first month, generating a total revenue of 18,400,000 VND.

As the Founder and Project Manager of the High School Business Case competition, I led the organization of an annual startup competition for high school students across Vietnam, themed "Business and Technology." Representing the Organizing Committee, I successfully collaborated with Hanoi Academy International Bilingual School to secure both legal and venue sponsorships for the event.

I managed a team of 30 members across four sub-committees: the Professional Committee, which created the competition format and managed the rounds; the Finance Committee, which developed financial estimates; the Communications Committee, which promoted the competition on Facebook and attracted 3.9 million followers within two months; and the Logistics Committee, responsible for setup and rehearsals.

I also supervised the funding strategy, securing 185 million VND in cash and 345 million VND in in-kind contributions from sponsors including IMAP Vietnam, St Lighthouse, and Spark Prep. Additionally, I initiated a partnership with the VTV3 broadcast network, successfully negotiating terms to have the event aired on VTV3’s Café Sáng.

In my role as Vice-President of Big3Ball Season 3, a student sports club in Hanoi, I’ve been involved in a variety of fundraising and event management initiatives. I kicked off our efforts by raising 5 million VND through the sale of fruit juice online and secured a generous 10 million VND sponsorship from Thế Phương Sport Store. I led the Hanoi Hoops For Charity 2024, a basketball league that brought together 20 high school teams from across the city. I also organized the Lion Cup 2023, a charity football tournament with 10 teams, which raised 3 million VND through ticket sales. The funds from these events were donated to improve the sports facilities at the Hai Duong Social Protection Center, where we contributed 5 million VND.
I was fortunate to qualify through all the rounds to take on the role of Head of Logistics for the TOS Student Government Organization, where I played a pivotal role in organizing a range of high-profile events. I co-organized Rap Olympia, a showcase aimed at promoting musical talent, especially in the genres of rap and hip hop. The event featured a panel of judges, including two famous rappers, Ngan and Huỳnh Công Hiếu, both top 4 finalists from Rap Việt Season 3. Additionally, I helped organize the 9th Olympia Film Festival, which brought together top international schools in Hanoi for a vibrant display of creativity.
  • I also took charge of the Christmas Shrekmas event at The Olympia Schools, overseeing the creation of games, selling candy, and decorating the school for the holiday season. My responsibilities extended to organizing other significant school events such as International Women’s Day, Vietnamese Women’s Day, Christmas, Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, and the Graduation Ceremony.

  • One of my key achievements was organizing and raising over 100 million VND through ticket sales and sponsorships for the Prom event, The Secret Garden, which attracted 300 students to participate.

Basil Coders is an information technology club founded by high school students in Hanoi and I was really lucky to be the Head of the Technical Department at the club, leading a team of 10 members in organizing a series of programming classes on Python and Scratch every Saturday, reaching over 55 middle school students because our target was to make coding accessible and engaging for young learners.

I also launched a Facebook series dedicated to sharing programming knowledge and experiences, which quickly gained over 1,000 followers and encouraged meaningful interactions within the community. In addition, I organized a workshop titled “Python: The Language of the Future” at Hang Kia B Primary School. The event focused on educating students about cyber safety, helping them with the skills to identify, prevent, and respond to privacy threats in the digital world.

The Thắp Project is a charity initiative dedicated to supporting children with cancer in Hanoi, aiming to provide both financial and emotional assistance to these children and their families through various community-based efforts.

As Head of Finance, I played a key role in managing the financial aspects of the project. I led a team of five in executing fundraising campaigns, including a successful one that raised over 33,000,000 VND through the sale of tote bags. Beyond managing finances, I was also involved in organizing volunteer activities including coordinating a team at Shinbi Smile restaurant to prepare 200 meals for patients and their families at K3 Hospital – Tan Trieu. I also helped organize the Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2023, setting up five interactive booths with activities like statue and lantern painting, balloon painting, and photo printing. During this event, we distributed 500 mooncakes to 250 households with children receiving treatment at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

In the summer of 2023, I participated in a charitable activity on Bích Đầm Island in Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa, which is known for its isolation and lack of access to the national power grid, resulting in significant challenges for its residents, especially children. Together with my friends Nam Anh and Hoàng Bách, we initiated the Toy Story Fund, aiming to rally contributions and donations of toys for the children on the island.
  • After a week of community outreach, we were thrilled to collect nearly 200 toys of various sizes to be delivered directly to 20 children living on Bích Đầm Island. The excitement and joy on their faces as they received these new toys were incredibly rewarding, especially considering the limited resources available on the island, making it a significant challenge for the children to obtain such treasures.

  • A few months later, I had the opportunity to visit the Hải Dương Social Protection Center. In my role as a representative of the Toy Story Fund, I organized a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration in 2023, personally preparing delightful lanterns for over 20 disabled children at the center. The smiles on their faces as they received these small yet heartfelt gifts became a cherished memory and a source of motivation for me
